Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2021

Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2021

Take a closer look at what's landed from Carhartt WIP for this Fall/Winter season at Bored of Southsea.
Just dropping with us is Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2021, and they're bringing some muted earthy tones to their collection of accessable workwear for the new season. Taking a wide selection of seasonable fabrics like assorted corduroys, heavy duck canvas, denim, yarn-dyed cotton and other warmer materials to marry up with their classic workwear staples. Carhartt's pallette for FW21see's them taking their queues from the nature and the seasons, with autuminal browns, icey blues and forest greens are seen throughout the collection this autumn/winter.

There's a wealth of warmer layers on offer here such as the Carhartt Hooded Cord Sweat in Tawny and Gold with it's fine whale material, drawstring hood and kangaroo pouch. In addition to the Carhartt Nimbus Pullover Deep Freeze Pullover Jacet in Black and Reflective, featuring water repellent nylon, fleece lining and subtle reflective stripe pattern, which is a strong new colourway that's elevated this classic nicely for the season.

For many years workwear pants have been the cornerstone of Carhartt's business, with staples like the Carhartt Simple Pant and Carhartt Single Knee Pants being staples in the line for decades. This season we've picked out the Carhartt Charter Pant in Icesheet Garment Dyed, with it's 8.3oz herrinbone cotton and double knee construction these are a refined upgrade on the classic Double Knee Pant. As well as the Carhartt Newell Pant in Tobbacco, which is a 9.7oz corduroy with a relaxed tapered fit, which we think are a perfect all-round pant for winter. And if you're just looking for some timeless work pants we've also gone with the Carhartt Simple Pants in Slate Rinced, coming again in a relaxed fit and triple stitched construction.

Other stand-outs from the drop include the Carhartt Cord Rugby Polo in Black with it's contrasting corduroy collar and heavyweight cotton fabric make it as good to wear smart as it is to wear casually. Another of our favourites here is the Carhartt Reno Shirt in Dark Navy which is made from a solid 10oz cotton and can be also worn as an overshirt if you want to size up. Or if that's a little too heavyweight then we also have several colours in the Carhartt L/S Maddison Shirt, which is again made from 100% cotton, comes with button-down collars and is available in Eucalyptus, Dark Navy and Leather.

Sweats are another really strong area from this autumn/winter drop, with a good choice in subtle logo carriers like the Carhartt Chase Sweat and Carhartt Hooded Chase Sweat coming in seasonal colours like Eucalyptus, Cold Viola and Fraiser. These are in addition to printed graphic sweats like the Carhartt Berkeley Sweat, Carhartt Hooded Chocolate Bar Sweat and Carhartt Fade State Sweatshirt which all feature large front or left breast and large back graphic logo designs.

A variety of striped t-shirts have carried over from one season to the next, with the Carhartt Scotty Pocket T-Shirt being one of the most popular. And that's joined by the Carhartt Tuscon T-Shirt in Offroad and Carhartt L/S Tuscon T-Shirt in Fraiser, which take inspiration from saddle blanket patterns. Both of these will be perfect for layering up with this coming winter alongside the rest of these very wearable and functional pieces. We also have a good choice of new Carhartt beanies, caps, bags, belts, gloves and other accessories on the brand page, so be sure to click the links to check more out.
