Bored are very pleased to introduce Sex Skateboards, the brainchild of Sheffield born skateboarder, designer and artist Louis Slater. After chasing the skate dream and heading out to California in the nineties, Louis managed to become a resident in Warner Avenue, Huntington Beach which was home to the legendary Piss Drunx crew who's members included Erik Ellington Andrew Reynolds, Dustin Dollin, Jim Grecco, Elissa Steamer, Alex Moul and Ali Boulala. There's no wonder why it's still regarded as the one of the wildest skate addresses in memory. This is where Erik gave Louis the opportunity to distribute Baker Skateboards, Deathwish and Shake Junt in the U.K, in turn starting Slugger Distribution and later the Slugger Store in Sheffield.

Jump forward to Louis sat around listening to The Sex Pistols with a can of paint in his hand and sprayed the now infamous Sex logo on to a blank deck, one thing led to another and Sex Skateboards blows up on Instagram and the bold red lipped "SEX" logo is being seen on hot models and rappers all over the internet. And now Sex Skateboards have landed at Bored, and in this first drop there's a selection of logo and graphic decks in two colours, logo wheels, bearings and 1" Allen Bolts. The Sex Skateboards Speed Wheels are available in 52mm, 53mm and 54mm, and the Sex Skateboards Extra Fast Bearings are rated at an ABEC 7. If there's one thing you can count on, and that's sex sells.
