Nike SB recently released the Nike SB Shane signature shoe in Dark Smoke Grey/ Paisley, which takes this flexible and usually understated low-top and have given it a whole new look from the addition of a printed paisley pattern on the side and heel panels. With its intricate detailing and iconic teardrop-shaped motif, paisley is a pattern that's rich in history. Having influenced multiple generations and cultures, we brought it to life on the Nike SB Shane Premium, where it celebrates the power of unity and the beauty that can emerge when different elements are held in equal importance.
One of the big themes for Nike this year that we've seen across different lines is paisley, and Nike SB is no exception. Off the back of the hugely popular Travis Scott Dunks and the Supreme x North Face collabs, this previously neglected paisley is back vengence. This long ignored repeat had been relegated to the likes of bandanas wearers and shirts worn by mods, but recently we've seen it used on gems like the Nike Dunk Low "Black Paisley" and Nike Dunk Low "Blue Paisley", which were the first releases from their "Paisley Pack". SB will also be dropping the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Paisley Burgundy shoe, which will only add weight to the patterns popularity.
To showcase them properly we gave a pair of the Nike SB "Paisley" Shane shoes to our man Pete Johns to put to the test at the skatepark, so head below and check him out getting down in them at Chichester skatepark.
