Nike SB have teamed up with Swedish skate heavyweights Polar Skate Co on this new super limited release. The collection kicks off with the Nike SB x Polar Trainer 1 in White, Black and Blue, which was originally seen on the feet of John McEnroe in the 80's before SB adopted it and now it's been brought back. The 2006 "Bamboo" Trainer 1 became one of SB's earliest crossover shoes to gain huge popularity. It's cross trainer styled silhouette, velcro lace strap and other detailing really gives the shoe a premium look and feel. The uppers are constructed with premium leather and nubuck over-lays on the toe and heel panels. They feature Polar branding across the velcro lace strap and a dual branded tongue label that mixes the Polar Stroke logo with a Swoosh across it.
The second shoe is the Nike SB x Polar Zoom Blazer Low GT in premium White suede with a Deep Blue leather swoosh, but unlike the standard GT Blazer this takes more of it's inspiration from the original 70's basketball silhouette. Coming with the OG foam tongue, Polar embroidered across the heel unit in large script and the co-branded tongue label. This logo is echoed again on the clean White insole, which signs off this crisp looking collab shoe perfectly.
