Nike SB are straight back to it, kicking off the new year with the striking new Pawnshop Skate Co x Nike SB Dunk High "Black" shoe. This super clean all leather SB Dunk High is a collaboration with Covina based Pawnshop Skate Co, which is owned by Anthony Piscopo and his son, SB & Hockey Skateboards pro Donovon Piscopo. First opening back in 2010, Pawnshop has served and supported the skate community east of downtown L.A. tirelessly for well over a decade. Donovon was raised by Anthony and to get him rolling they sold a family heirloom, which is the reason they later named the store Pawnshop. Back in 2020 the store faced disaster after a fire destroyed all of their stock, but they were able to re-build after a huge show of support from the local community.

The shoe itself takes design queues from classic work boots, with a Black premium leather upper, leather Swoosh and heel tabs. In contrast to the dark base colours, there's gold detailing around the midfoot, with gold stitching, metal eyelet and wing embelems on the collar. This Dunk High also has some nice hidden touches, with a wear-away Swoosh and vamp, that reveal golden leather benieth. There's several lace options including two-tone cord work boot laces, and all laces coming with golden metal aglets. Signing the Dunk off with co-branding on the Zoom Air insole and tongue with leather labelling featuring the stores "Old Soul" moniker on the reverse.

Due to limited numbers the Pawnshop Skate Co x Nike SB Dunk High "Black" shoes will soon be available on a raffle to buy basis only. So keep a close look out for more info on our social media channels for more details of the release.
