Sweden based skate brand Polar Skate Co are coming in strong for Holiday 2021, launching their new collection of cut & sew and skateboard hardware just in time for the build up to the festive season. Pontus Alv has guided Polar in to one of Europes most prominent skate companies, being one of the first brands to offer alternative deck shapes other than just popsicles and producing a full apparel line every season. Not to mention assembling an incredible team of rippers, including such names as Oskar "Oski" Rosenberg, Hjalte Halberg, Dane Brady, Aaron Herrington, Nick Boserio, Shin Sanbongi, Ville Wester and Jamie Platt.
This season on top of their collection of classic staples Polar have also introduced new shirts and knits to the line, which are ideal for the colder months ahead. With gems like the Polar Paul Knit in Rich Navy and Black/Yellow, a ribbed jaquard knit with featuring eyecatching retro patterns and colours. Available in both colour options, with a wide fit and made in Portugal. Shirting is another strong area from the drop with our favourites being the Polar Waffle Shirt in Teal with it's Gaze weave fabric, and the cosy Polar Flannel Shirt in Graphite in a 100% cotton 270 GSM flannel. And if you're a fan of the Big Boy Jeans they've now introduced the Polar Big Boy Shirt in Black, made with the same contrast stitching and workwear construction as the classic Big Boy Jeans.
There is also a good choice of polo shirts this season with a mix of long and short sleeves in washed earth tones, ideal for laying up with warmer layers. Like the Polar Polo Longsleeve in Dark Green and Polar Polo Shirt in Brass, which both come with an embroidered Stroke logo on the left breast and custom PSC laser etched buttons. In addition to the polo shirts there's plenty more seasonal tones in their classic staples, such as the Polar Patch Crewneck and Polar Patch Hoodie in Brass and Default Hoodie in Bordeaux. All coming with a subtle contrasting White embroidered logo. Other popular carryovers include the Polar Stroke Logo T-Shirt in White and Black, Happy Sad Socks in Black, White and Grey, and the ever popular Polar Stroke Logo Hoodie in Black.
Polar have also continued to expand on their already impressive selection of denim and workwear pants, with the seasonal addition of some thicker corduroy in several different styles, like the Polar 93 Cords and Big Boy Cords both available in Rust, depending if you like you pants just loose or super sagged. Despite the winter people still want tee's and PSC always come through with some strong graphic t-shirts in each collection, with our picks for this season being the Polar Liquid Man Tee in Heather Grey, and Polar Smoking Lady Fill Logo Tee in White.
