Presenting the Pontus Alv x Bored of Southsea capsule collection.

We're very proud to present our new Pontus Alv x Bored of Southsea capsule collection, featuring original artwork by Pontus exclusively for Bored. The line consists of two t-shirts (White & Black), a hoodie, sweatshirt, 6-panel cap and a canvas shopping bag, featuring mix of embroidered and screened original Alv artwork.

Over the past two decades Pontus Alv has consistantly been one of the most original and creative figures in European skateboarding, a true individual. These days he's best known as the main man behind Polar Skate Co, and now Last Resort AB. But long before all of that , back in the late 90's, a young Pontus was one of the earliest European skate exports, leaving his home in Sweden for California to persue the skateboard dream. His stylish, big popping and powerful skating landed him a spot on Justin Girard's legendary brand Mad Circle, alongside heavy-hitters like Scott Johnson, Bobby Puleo, Karl Watson and Rob Welsh. In addition to Mad Circle, Pontus also rode for a multitude of other major brands over the years such as Arcade, Cliché, Emerica, Carhartt WIP and Converse to name a few.

After returning to Malmo in the early 2000's Alv focused on creating independent skate films and building a large number of D.I.Y skate spots around his home city with a group of friends. Many of these spots featured in his films, including "The Strongest Of The Strange". This incredible Malmo scene that Pontus was so central to eventually led to the creation of Polar Skate Co, and it's incredible journey up to now. So it's a great honour for us to release this collab with one of skateboardings true one-offs, featuring Alv's artwork in his own destinctive style. The collection consists of two tee's with screened graphics, and a sweatshirt, hoodie and cord 6-panel cap featuring embroidered artwork. A big thanks again to Pontus Alv.
