Casio was founded in Japan in 1946 by engineer Tadao Kashio and his brothers. Within in only a few years of starting their company the brothers had created the worlds first electro mechanical calculator, while others still ran by hand crank. And again only a couple of years later the first hand held calculator.
In the 1980’s the company moved further in to quartz and digital wristwatch innovation along with manufacturing musical keyboard instruments. They continued to develop most of the features that are common place today such as temperature, time zones, atmospheric pressure and altitude. With a back catalogue that is pretty much a history of the modern watch, there is something there for everyone.
