Established in Tokyo 2011, Evisen Skateboards founder Katsumi Minami wanted to create a company that represented the local Japanese scenes and communities that aren't given as much shine as they deserve, such as Oska and Sendai.
Established in Tokyo 2011, Evisen Skateboards founder Katsumi Minami wanted to create a company that represented the local Japanese scenes and communities that aren't given as much shine as they deserve, such as Oska and Sendai.
There is also a strong traditional influence on the brand's board graphics and artwork, often in the "Okiyo-e" style but given their own contemporary twist. As well as a skate brand, these guys are also involved in distribution, a print magazine, skate shop and clothing, so expect to see a lot more to come from Evisen.
