Nike SB Blazer
The Nike Blazer was first introduced to the world in 1973, originally as a basketball shoe and named after the local basketball team where the Nike headquarters are based “The Portland Trail Blazers”. In 2005 32 years later, Lance Mountain announced the development of the Blazer SB by adding padding and bringing the Nike Air into the shoe. Then in 2006 the new identity of the shoe was reborn thus making it a go to skate shoe. This shoe is known already as a skate classic, rightly so considering its rich heritage from team sports. The shoe is classically known as a Hi, but if you’re not down with that, a Low version is available too. Nike Skateboarding professional Grant Taylor has also been graced with his own version of the shoe known as the GT blazer which has a slightly different sole unit but still has it classic charm.
