Skateboarder, artist and photographer Ed Templeton started Toy Machine back in 1993, with the company mainly driven by his skating and artwork. Until he brought in Jamie Thomas to the team which was when things really started to take off.
1996 saw the release of "Welcome to Hell", featuring Brian Anderson, Chad Muska, Mike Maldonado, Elissa Steamer and Donny Barley. This propelled the company and riders immediately to the top of skateboarding. The faces have changed but the incredible skating remains, with riders like Collin Provost, Billy Marks, Dan Lutheran, Matt Bennett, Blake Carpenter, Axel Cruysberghs and Leo Romero holding it down over the years.
