See what's going down from Carhartt for the Fall/Winter 2018 season in our latest lookbook
Carhartt has just landed with us for Fall/Winter 2018, and we've picked out a handful of looks from latest their collection to showcase for the new season. Their new line is packed with the classic workwear pieces that the brand is known for, which can be also layered up with their more contemporary offerings like the fleece jackets that give things more of a streetwear feel. The fabrics that feature in this drop range from corduroy and denim to ripstop cotton and thick fleece, all of which will look great mixed and matched up.
We've got classic workwear staples like the timeless OG Chore Coat in Hamilton Brown, which comes in an original stone wash for a nice worn feel. It features the original blanket lining, four front pockets and made from 12oz cotton canvas, a perfect jacket to layer up with a hoodie or work vest. Here we paired it with the Salenac Shirt Jac in Blue Stone Wash.
If you're looking for something that keeps more of the bad weather out the Carhartt Visner Pullover Jacket in Camo Laurel is a real winner, with a full fleece lining and large embroidered logo on the front pocket flap. Also featuring a quarter zip down placket, large front pouch with two side pockets, side zip opening and adjustable drawstring hood. This has been dressed with some Marshall Joggers in Black and the Tony Shirt in Tobacco Rigid.
The Carhartt Hooded Sail Jacket in Navy/White is a perfect all-round winter coat, it's gonna keep you warm and dry as well as looking just as good worn casually and oversized as it does with a cleaner look. Here we've paired it up with the button-down Madison Shirt in Loden/Wax. Again this comes with a full fleece lining and a subtle embroidered logo on the left breast, an inside pocket and two zip side pockets.
One of our favourite pieces from this drop is the Prentis Liner Jacket in Camo Laurel, which is an extra thick net lined full zip fleece with Nylon taffeta detailing on the zips and pockets and 10.3oz pile. Depending on how you want to wear this it can be worn as a liner to a large coat or Parka, but also worn as a top layer with a thin jacket, hood or work vest. Finished off with an embroidered Carhartt label on the front chest pocket.
The Nimbus Pullover Jacket has now become a constant in the Carhartt collection, and this one in Mulberry is an example of the growing number brighter seasonal colours with a bit more pop they are now making the Nimbus in. Constructed from water repellent Supplex Nylon this jacket is gonna get you through most conditions this country is gonna through at you, and the side zip feature is gonna make it loads easier to put on and take off. This is again is fleece lined with zipped side pockets, a draw string hood and a left breast Carhartt label.
In addition to the Carhartt's outwear offerings their knitwear is just as on point, and the Anglistic Sweater in Black/Heather featured here is another great way to add some much needed warmth to your wardrobe. Featuring a multi coloured fleck running through the weave of the garment, a raglan sleeve construction and Carhartt square labelling on the front lower hem.
