A few weeks back we threw our first skate event of the year, and due to the endless winter wind & rain we decided to head to the relative dryness of our local subway spot in the centre of Portsmouth for the first Curb Crushers Skate Jam. It wasn't hard to get some backing cos the moment we mentioned we wanted to put on a simple curb session people were stoked, with the awesome guys at Hockey Skateboards, RIPNDIP and Polar Skate Co coming through with some incredible prizes at really short notice.

Despite it still being the middle of January and with no indoor skateparks within a fifty mile radius we didn't let that get in the way, so we did a touch of spot preparation the night before to improve curbs shredability then we were ready to roll. So on a very wet Sunday 26th at midday a strong crowd of curb hungry skaters went to town on our little dry oasis of cycle path for an afternoon of high speed waxy fun. 

A huge thanks again to Keen Dist, Polar, RIPNDIP, Hockey, Nike SB and of course everyone that braved the rain and came down to skate, and even just hanging out cos it was too hectic to join in. Your continuing support is always so important, and very much appreciated.
